This is a perfect and extremely intimate venue for a small wedding. There is seating for around 24 people in this tiny chapel within the rock and it is completely unique, providing a ceremony with a difference.
Hidden away in a small corner of the village looking over the valley and down to the coast is the hermitage of the Virgen de la Pena, which was built into a rocky outcrop by Mercedarian monks. Inside is a likeness of the Virgen de la Pena, the patron saint of the village.
In 1656 work began on teh sanctuary which nowadays is always decorated with flowers and pictures as offerings.
You can be sure that your guests will NEVER have been to a wedding in a cave like this one before! This is what they call a wow- factor!
